Eugene - a farmer from Vic who had never been on a sailing boat

and this his new boat a Cav 395. Eugene has already sailed from
Sydney to the Gold Coast and back south to visit family and friends
in Port Ferry before working his way north to Qld for the winter of

"This was one of the best training experiences of my life, I had
very limited knowledge or understanding of yachting prior to
attending this course (although my husband did) and I was amazed
that at the end I had undertaken the total experience of yacht
ownership, management and operation. It has given me the confidence
to undertake cruising safely and more importantly how my husband and
I can operate as a team and communicate better together. I now feel
that we can commence the next phase of our lives, cruising the
Queensland coast, as the name suggests we now have cruisability!!!" |
